Guests will now experience the results of a major $110+ million dollar transition of the deluxe Outrigger Reef on the Beach at Waikiki. The Outrigger Reef’s transformation is apparent upon arrival as guests are greeted in the new porte cochere featuring a stunning new Polynesian Canoe Hale (house) – recognized for its cultural significance and unique longhouse design. A restored century-old outrigger canoe suspended from this hale visually helps guest transition to an island-style environment as they begin their experiential journey at our sit down guest reception desk. An expansive remodeled pool and sundeck, three thermo spas and upgraded fitness center serve as popular and relaxing alternatives to Waikiki beach and multitude of ocean activities. Museum-quality artifact displays, cultural and participatory guest activities and local artisan artwork enhance the guest experience. Spaciously redesigned and re-constructed guestrooms and suites with sophisticated new interiors are enhanced by amenities including 32” flat-panel LCD televisions, full-sized tubs and made-in-Hawaii bath products.
